SD 390 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam

he RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam is a fearsome Federation Mobile Suit constructed by Anaheim Electronics and commissioned by the Earth Federation as a part of their “UC Project,” which sought the creation of powerful Psychoframe Mobile Suits to eliminate all Zeon remnants. The Unicorn Gundam was the first Mobile Suit to utilize Psychoframe components throughout its frame, granting it unrivaled performance. The abundance of Psychoframe parts within the Unicorn Gundam allows its pilot to use the Mobile Suit as an extension of their body rather than a piloted mech. The Full Armor Unicorn Gundam features a massive improvement in firepower, thanks to the addition of numerous weapons. The Full Armor Unicorn Gundam also sorties with two gigantic booster pods to negate the added weight of its equipment. Unlike previously conceived “Full Armor” Gundam variants, the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam does not include additional armor plating.

Articulation –

The SD Full Armor Unicorn Gundam borrows most of its construction from the previously released SD BB Senshi #360 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, showcasing the in-universe lineage that connects these two Mobile Suits! The SD BB Senshi is the longest-running Gunpla line in history, beginning in 1987 and still receiving new entries almost 40 years later! Each model in this line features a simple construction with basic articulation to create different poses. The SD Full Armor Unicorn Gundam features a simple transformation that allows its display in either Unicorn or Destroy Mode. Bandai provided a sheet of color-correcting stickers to help builders recreate the Mobile Suit’s on-screen appearance right out of the box!
